@JeremiahPrummer Cool - lower than I would have thought! Appreciate your transparency with the data.

@JeremiahPrummer Nice. Would love to know the % of people that answered that question with a retail answer vs anything else

@WillManidis Apollo hasnโt had a controlling interest in Vail for like 20 years. They are public.

@MehtabKarta It has been transformative for us. Very quickly cuts through the noise to find where work is actually happening vs saying itโs happening.

@matt_lorelli @ozskier @ProfessorPowder So which is it? Ski areas are taking too much profit OR they should operate independently of normal supply and demand and therefore be subsidized?

@matt_lorelli @ozskier @ProfessorPowder You either have to believe A. The businesses you listed above take an unusually large profit margin relative to other businesses and somehow have not been competed out or B. Skiing should be subsidized

@matt_lorelli @ozskier @ProfessorPowder Said differently, do you think ski resorts take a larger profit margin than any other business?

@ozskier @matt_lorelli @ProfessorPowder Just trying to understand different perspectives, didnโt mean anything by it.

@matt_lorelli @ProfessorPowder Then donโt go to a mega resort. These are the premier ski destinations in the country. Ski Cooper is $45 and is less than an hour from big bad Vail.. plenty of similar examples all around the country. I play golf 3 days a yr - should I complain that Pebble Beach is too expensive?

@matt_lorelli @ProfessorPowder Unless you ski 2 days a year skiing is cheaper now than it ever has been. This day pass price debate is so boring.
