@oldenoughtosay Honestly I'm a woman and my work pants do this. But I work in healthcare and they're scrub pants so I give zero fucks.

@peterproctor @DrNeilStone Found the case report: It's a great two-for of odd rabies presentations!

@MCCCANM When I see you post about this I’m so sad for you and her. And then I remember the high % of women with cancer whose husbands leave and am reminded you’re clearly a proper gentleman who loves her, and for that she is blessed.

@MCCCANM I think of commercial flight like a bit like health care. Is it going to be possible to make a computer better than a human? Maybe. Do I want to be flown (or treated) by someone who doesn't understand the fear of NOT being alive? Hell no!

@RNSuperHero I pretty much always interpret BP in context of the end-of-bed-o-gram. 98/58 but pink and making sense in coversation = less worried. But the patient with a RR of 32? Pretty much always concerned. Also bradycardia in a pt with risk factors for high K.

@no1historychick @gomichild Previous attempts to cross the Tasman that way have ended in unmitigated failure. Might be doable across the Torres Straight (but the local up there have being doing similar for probably millenia)

@abimr13 @drphiliplee1 Definitely a pharmacy thing. When I explained in Helsinki that I didn't need anything, I was just there because I was a pharmacist they smiled, nodded and left me alone. Discoveries: OTC vaginal oestrogen (@AshleyGWinter), a vitamin D section and 3-pks of hydrocortisone tabs(?)

@maffygirl @GongGasGirl Can honestly say I've never seen this in 20+ years. And pharmacy uses a lot of those tiny stickers, they just say different things! Did come across a batch of eye drop flags that had "KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN" printed diagonally at random intervals last week (pic for ref)

@DuchessSexpert Love seeing the Australia fire danger scale repurposed like this. But recently it’s been simplified (because people are simple on a large scale)…

@pharmsohardnet We usually use ketamine or small boluses of propofol in ED. We also have nitrous (or methoxyflurane as a pure analgesic) which we use occasionally. No etomidate in Australia and typically use dent/midaz for intubated patients. Anaesthetics use alfentanil for ECT interestingly.

@DuchessSexpert I'm an emergency pharmacist in Australia. It's very common here for our trainees (regardless of gender) to work part-time hours to free up time to study. Many of out consultants (=atending in US terms) are also less than full time.

@PhlawlessPharm You might have finally proposed a winning delivery methodology for zanamivir! Bonus for no renal dose adjustments.

@cassbeewrites Even though (I assume) these are women’s pants, they *still* deserve a shout out from @dieworkwear for the beauty of that pocket!

@DrNeilStone Vitamins D deficiency is merely a sign of having less freedom to spend time outdoors. Which is much more common in people with significant disability or illness. Having said that, as a Celt in Australia who’s religious about sun protection, I take it every day.

@socialsushii @Nirgal451 Having grown up in those mountains, I’ll recommend “never rely on a weather forecast in the mountains”. It’s been known to snow on Boxing Day. (Also there are like double the tourists in summer because there’s so many more places for them to go)

@DuchessSexpert The parody account (@YellowstoneSV) has been quiet for a while. And the @sanandreafault account is too busy organising disaster relief. Could always try @MtStHelensWA ?
