@Peston
This is all getting a little desperate now. Why are the establishment running so scared? Let’s just have all the investigations out in the open and the Sue Gray report published in full. And while we are about it let’s see the Lebedev report and the full original Russian report.
@bbcpress
This is why we need a properly independent trustworthy BBC free from government interference. It is one of the few things that this country is world class at and we should fight to keep it.
@JujuliaGrace
She (Hartley-Brewer) is an extremely unpleasant human being. I am very sorry to hear that you are being put through this just for trying to make things better for everybody. I do not begin to understand what motivates some people.

“bothered lawyering up”? You mean “people who were in a position where they could get someone else to pay astronomical legal fees”?
Who has paid for Johnson’s legal fees? The taxpayer?

Ah, hello, Mr Banks’s Large Donation. Where are you from?
I’m from here, the UK. I was born here.
No no, I mean, where are you from originally?

Why do people like Letts pretend that they are trying to help desperate asylum seekers by treating them so abysmally? If they want to stop the boats just give people ferry tickets and process their UK claims properly in either France or the UK. The boats would stop immediately.

Can we please just arrest him for misconduct in public office, try him and then hopefully lock him up and throw away the key?
This government is not fit for purpose. They are incompetent and cruel. WTF have we become?

The criminal corruption that is running our country becomes more and more transparent. Remind us which Tories are funded by the horse racing mob?

Getting on with the job of PM by visiting an Indian PM who is still trading and dealing with Putin? To sort out a few more sweet deals for Infosys? Are you on glue?
@BBCLauraKT
Likewise massive donations from Russians have had no effect on any of their decisions. Why on earth do these people give so generously to the Tories if they get nothing in return?
@LeaveEUOfficial
We have a rogue government, not a rogue parliament. They have no majority and we have a prime minister put in power by just a tiny minority of the electorate. And all that's without even talking about

Dear people of

, you don’t have to wait for a GE.
All 7,036 of you have to do is organise and sign a petition, calling for the recall of Boris Johnson for misconduct in public office. Then we'll have a by-election. Do it for your country.

The corruption is off the scale. The desperation to cling to power until the very last second is sickening. These people are meant to serve us not their bank accounts and their grubby pals.

This is a complete farce, our police are protecting the criminals and harassing legal protestors.

Has our government always been this corrupt? Are we just beginning to notice? Or are these people now in charge much worse than before?
@RhonddaBryant

Sunak is a hedge fund banker and should never have been allowed anywhere near our politics. This is a corrupt inept excuse for a government. We are being robbed and killed by these people.

No, you weren’t wrong. People think this is all over because the media and the government are ignoring how bad it still is in this country.

Insurance in general has just been a scam for a while now. A system that was meant to mitigate risk for other people evolved into one that just removed it’s own risk. At other peoples’ cost.

So the establishment would happily risk destroying the place to prevent even the hint of a vaguely socialist politician being in charge of the country?
That says quite a lot really.
@LiamThorpECHO
Hospitals have coped because thousands have been allowed to die in care homes or at home without treatment. And the staff in the hospitals have been allowed to get ill and die as well due to inadequate protection. This is a catastrophic failure of government.
@PickardJE
All caused by the Tories refusing to spend the money on the country. Reclaim some of the billions they have spaffed on their mates and let’s start investing in fixing the country.

@MattHancock
Robert, the stench off this government has been very strong for a long while now. Please do your job and start talking seriously about it. Our democracy is at a fragile point right now.
