In NZ we had a hut used for hiking, just renovated and had a swastika painted on the roof. It’s a days walk from anywhere, so very remote. What on earth is wrong with people???

No way Israel could accept the release of terrorists involved in 7 Oct. And releasing 3000 terrorists just partly undoes what the UDF have done in Gaza. Why don’t the pro-Palestinian supporters protest about them not complying with ICJ & release all hostages immediately?

That is just horrific. Stabbing someone in a restaurant who tried to intervene, and losing a litre of blood, and having a collapsed lung from stabbing etc.

On the subject of war medals, all service people (Māori & Pakeha) had to apply for them after WW2, with estimates only a qtr of all actually received. Māori were volunteers, Pakeha drafted. Personally I think no one should have had to apply for medals.

This is just horrific, and I think a real indication of the pure, unadulterated evil that was inflicted on these people. I think far too many people are downplaying what happened. Given half a chance, this would happen again.
