It’s not erasing anything. Jamaicans are defendants of slaves. The first slaves in the “New World,” went to the islands that are now Jamaica, Trinidad, the DR, etc. Jamaicans are African descendants, and share the same brutal history of slavery as in what is now the US.

Lower taxes means less revenue for the government. If nothing is done to offset that loss in tax revenue, that contributes to the deficit (I.e. more money going out than coming in). Really not a hard concept to understand. Btw, the vast majority of those tax cuts weren’t for us.
