In every sport, we continue to be way too obsessed with the appearance of movement, while ignoring the relevance of the perception, context, & environment in which the mover interacts. And from my limited perspective, the sport of baseball is the absolute worst offender. 😕
Take a look at this poor overhead squat...this kid must be a poor mover! Don't believe everything that you read!!! 🤣 #LTAD

To follow up here, more personally/philosophically: The most important thing to me as a coach is for my players to know I will relentlessly BELIEVE in them - in their ability to come through & to improve. If my flaw is I believe *too much* in my players, I’m 100% ok with that.
Don’t bunt, kids. Bunting is soft. At least, Hall of Fame MLB manager Earl Weaver would say so. 🤷🏼♂️
