God is good. Even in our faithlessness (2 Tim. 2:13), brokenness and doubts (Matt. 6:25-34). He provides and opens and closes doors for us (through prayer). With that I'm excited to get to work with the Twins next year!! Excited to be in High A as Hitting & Development Coach.

So much of hitting is mechanics. What if we let players discover more? Have rounds of copying players stances, figure out who THEY are and not who WE want them to be. Challenge hitters w/ environments that they want to come back to and beat (levels).
Could it be that the discovery of what the buttons did was the fun part? That the level of the game you achieved was secondary? Video game companies have bet on it.

You don’t learn how to play lacrosse on a spreadsheet or by counting your reps. You learn by playing different iterations of the game. Free play is not just the most accessible gateway for new players. It can also be a learning tool for even the most experienced ones.
