My parents did a blend of RCCG and MFM. Mon: Prayer meeting .Tue: Digging Deep .Wed: Manna water .Thur: Faith clinic .Fri: Vigil (once a month) .Sat: PMCH (morning) Clean Church (evening) .Sunday: Service from 7-1. House fellowship from 6-7 . Wo, I understand her like mad.
First thing I did when I could make my own choices was to stop going to church. I was going against my will at least twice a week for 16 years 😭.

@Big_Ridwan If I knew about online degrees in 2018, I would have tbh. Physical uni is needlessly stressful.

@Adedolapop_ In the early days, yes. But not quite. She and my dad happened to be in the sciences and I pivoted to the arts. Mostly self study, read everything I could see, and they got me text books too. Then, the INTERNET.

@FortuneAlayo Yes I know. No I’m not telling Twitter. Social interaction difficulties? Maybe. Doesn’t impact a thing I do, so I’m good.

@pst_iren Hello @pst_iren. I'm Deborah a 200l law student of UI. I currently run a charity @apadforher that seeks to end period poverty by providing menstrual pads to those who cannot afford it. I started out during the ASUU strike, and I have been able to help 2500 girls across 5 states.

Pry 5, I had N640 from reselling plantainchips and they called my mom😭. She was so sweet, she had no idea where I got the money but she said she gave it to me. When I got home, she asked where I got the money, cane in hand 😭. Ma, it’s business I didn’t steal. She let me go😂.

You're describing premenstrual syndrome(PMS), caused by hormonal changes in the menstrual cycle. There's a much severe one; Premenstrual dysphoric disorder(PMDD) where women literally have suicidal thoughts, while your first thought may be "demon possession" permit me to explain?.
“You are not the first woman to see her period, so your menstruation is not the problem. You are simply not a peaceful person” — Apostle Femi Lazarus.

It may seem credulous to say that people cannot buy pads but in Nigeria where people live in poverty pads are a luxury to girls whose parents can barely afford to feed them.I celebrated #InternationalDayOfGirlChild with @apadforher by providing reusable pads to 3200 school girls

In case you’re wondering why University of Ibadan students are suddenly crowdfunding for school fees. The school sent everyone home for 3 weeks, and if you don’t pay the egregious fees by 20th you won’t write the exams. Read more.

My own hot take is that the seeming quickness of answer to this particular prayer point is man made. Because upon the first problem or misunderstanding, you think “oh, this must be God”. And it’s even worse now that people reiterate this, so now everybody believes it.
Once someone starts talking to me, i tell God to scatter it if it's not for me. Seeing as it's his favorite prayer to answer.

@_SLYTAUREAN I'll speak for myself, the only reason I'm hyper independent is because many of these men are just. inadequate. I really want to see what you can offer me besides money. And often times, there's really nothing more. So, either way, I'll be lonely.
