Dear women, buy every damn property in your own name. Except if the property is jointly owned by you and your husband. Then it should be Ade and Bisola Dawodu not Mr and Mrs Dawodu. Any woman can be Mrs Dawodu. May we not be unfortunate

@SavvyRinu Sanwoolu is a proof that Nigerian politicians understand accountability but they choose not to care because we are complacent electorates. It's high time we demanded quality leadership from them at all levels, so they can sit up and deliver on their manifestoes.

The significant rise in students bringing family members is putting untenable pressure on public services. Tightening the student route will help to cut migration by restricting post-graduate students from bringing dependents or using the route as a backdoor to work. 1/2

@Tosdanladi @CACCOT1 Why should she put his name if he had no contribution in it? Have we not always advised women on this street to always ensure they contribute financially to everything accurate in the home no matter how little?? Why should a man gain ownership without financial contribution?🤷🏽

@MimiTajiri I don't understand how this tweet received negativity. In a country where widows are cutting off all forms of contact with their late husband's family, because of their plenty wahala? This is refreshing to read. Your family must be a warm and loving one for her to stick around

@zee_zhu_ The problem is with you equating skitmaking with comedy. I've never seen where Layi claimed to be a comedian, skits are like drama, they mirror the society to educate, inform or entertain. Layi may not make us laugh but his skits are definitely worth the time spent watching them

@IdiagiErnest @thetopazbrand Because they believe that for a man to propose to or marry a lady, he must be financially stable. That's why they often say married men are better boyfriends. Lagos is a weird place 🤣🤣

@Ethereal_ilo They can fund their lavish lifestyles at the expense of tax payers' sweat. Enjoying exotic cars, jets, and all sorts of ridiculous allowances while they tax the people to suffocation and promise them better life 'in the nearest future.' Nigerians will still hail them 😄😄

@ogaaa_dee @IfeIfeolarinde Once I see someone in the diaspora gaslighting people who passionately decry injustice, oppression & bigotry in Nigeria, I'm curious to find out their opinion on racism and their hypocrisy is always revealed. Nigerians don't hate oppression, they hate being at the receiving end

@_SLYTAUREAN Plus the fact that his mom still cooks and cleans even with a child as grown up as him means he is also useless. Like father like son. If you are an adult and your mom is still doing house chores, you are failure. Hire someone to do them if you no longer live with your parents.

@BolajiParle Even if I can afford it, I will never pay 600k per term for crèche. That's ridiculous. I paid N60,000 in all for my University education.

@UchePOkoye Anybody campaigning or planning to vote against APC is definitely pro-Igbo. They echoed the same rhetoric in 2015 against Agbaje in Lagos and GEJ's presidential bid, in 2019 against Atiku and Agbaje again. They know that many of their Yoruba supporters are bigots, so it works.

@tuneh @Agwabuo Congrats to your mum but what's the correlation between this and feminism? What's even the relevance of your reply to the tweet which clearly states that women should pursue their dreams and not give in to social pressure. Did she say women should not marry early if they want?

@Crosseyednerd @GwSwaggernaut They know the truth, but since it's Sansa, they must unleash their vileness. I've lost count of how many times I've heard 'na person property be that oh" in reference to married women. And if we are sincere, the respect married women get in Naija is based on this. She is right!

@Ceorhemz Being a successful billonaire and author doesn't mean you are/will be a good president. Governaance isn't business. As far as being the President of America is concerned, Trump is a failure, so is Buhari. They are both clueless prsident, regardless of their previous experiences.

@nyer_o I abandoned my shares. They are dead to me. I can't go through the emotional stress of seeing that all the multi-million investment I made in 2008/2009 is now worthless. I bought some of them as high as N48 per share now worth 50kobo

@Dab4Youth @PeterObi Imams and Sheiks openly endorsed Muslim-Muslim ticket because 'Islam and Jihad,' nobody accused them of being divisive. Peter Obi going to church is where you draw the line. Again, you all are hypocrites! You cannot disregard our religious diversity and still blame who doesn't.

@Oreoluwa_Finnih @Arinzay Your question was triggering & suggestive of an attempt to undermine his rights to have an opinion on the matter. You can't pretend you had no bad intentions and such do not deserve the insults. You cannot insult people's intelligence and claim victim. That's disingenuous!

@dii_imma Funny how when I was a child, Yoruba mothers used to criticise young women who backed their babies this way as "Isobo" or "Igbo" because the proper Yoruba way is with "oja" Today, the same style has been rebranded as Yoruba. Interesting times.

@NGRPresident Cattle rearing is a personal business. Let herdsmen finance their ranches from personal /business funds. Government has no business in business. Tax payers money should not be used to highjack people's ancestral lands for the benefit of private business owners. #RugaSettlement

@WizEdison10 No African woman struggles to understand the reality of marriage because they have definitely seen it play out in their families. The problem is with the men who refuse to put in the 'serious work' and expect women to be cool with it. Both parties must work it out. 1/2
