Do without a car if you can. The world would be such a nicer place without all those metal boxes clogging up the place. Get a bicycle, regular exercise halves the risk of cancer (I know that sounds unbelievable). Get bulky stuff delivered. Get taxis for other trips. Save money.

A watershed moment. If the UK applies to join the EU it is likely that we would have to adopt the € at some point, subject to alignment, but brexiteers have banged on "it's over, the Brits will never accept the €." Well, from now on a majority will be in favour.

We helped write them. We negotiated exemptions for those we felt were not in the national interest (Euro, Schengen etc). They were voted on by elected MEPs. How is all that 'imposed'?
