Something about Arlecchino's trailer reminds me to never give up on Ei lore.I find it strange how the electro symbol replaces the pupil. It looks exactly like the one on the statue and its wings. What does this mean for Ei and Arle.

Ei's pure anger glitched up the atmosphere. It was physically harming us. There is a green and red aura seen in the pre cutscene and in Arlecchino's trailer. Like the static of a television. This is no coincedence. Ei is capable of doing this to the atmosphere.

Before you guys start saying the red moon in Eis domain was only a symbol of her trauma. Nope. It is demonstrated being an alter version of her elemental power. This red and purple mix is a symbol of Ei. We even see it play out in reverse in Alrecchino's demo.

Also Arlecchino's direct fight scenes in a Khaenri'ah like place is again very interesting. She and Ei both directly tie back to there. Ei using craftmanship and Arle is part of the crimson moon bloodline.

Somehow no matter how much you add to this there is a lingering misunderstanding between the fandom itself and Ei. Ei never truly saw scaramouche as her child, while scaramouche saw Ei as his mother. He was essentially more human than she was.
the phrasing of scara’s line here implies that the traveler shared with him what ei told them. yet we can see that scara doesn’t really accept ei’s summary of her intentions when she left him in the shakkei pavilion. the misunderstanding between them isn’t the only problem here

Ei has never had a boss form nor have we ever seen her divine form. Both her creations have Halos, multiple arms etc. Also techincally Ei is the only archon to actually carry a name associated with angels. Seraphim angels are not "angelic" in a typical sense.
The only other angelic character we see in the game is Venti (ignoring Columbina because we know nothing about her origins) and Venti is a member of the Thousand Winds. The repeated motif of wings and winds and the idea that wind records memory/wind is omnipresent.

The shogun simply follows suit of that facade. Ei is not like that. Ei is much more emotionally flexible, passionate and "kind". Its a very regal personality. I prefer not to argue with people over my views on Ei's personality but,as I see it people still mischaracterize her.
