@adamdobson123 Thanks @adamdobson123 am aware of that study and it is one that I plan to post on in the future. 🙂 The newer review had similar findings: small temporary benefit of surgery only, need to consider whether surgery is worth the temporary benefit considering the risks.

Eg exercise gives 16 VAS points on average for chronic back pain(Cochrane review) - there are various MCIDs pending question

Is the 🔗 correct? In the #metaanalysis I posted one RCT looked at traumatic tears & surgery had a similar small effect as for degenerative tears in the other RCTs
