@katlipsa hi Katriina. Sorry for the unsolicited contact on here. I have read your recent research on Bergson and was interested in it as you discussed Bergson methods. I plan to start my MPhil using Bergson next year. Would it be possible to chat with you about your work? Paul

@AsafKlaf @edwinderaaij Thanks again. I ponder on how we might account for real world effects/contexts that scripting is unable to consider? I appreciate that research is not directly applicable due to contextual effects. Will be interesting when a paper is published with this change.

@AsafKlaf @edwinderaaij Thank you, Asaf. So, should that be a feature of future research whereby the actual scripts of what was said in the study are published in the methodology?

@AsafKlaf @edwinderaaij Fascinating. Is it reasonable to suggest that all studies involving human interaction will have demand characteristics? If a study is to be rigorous in eliminating DCs, might that mean we have to script what researchers say?

@Retlouping I suspect if you paid for the little blue tick all would be rectified.

I’m struggling to understand this. How do I reconcile natural healing and RTM in line with this? it suggests that pathoanatomy is just a part of tissue change, I understand, which from a materialist perspective would help to explain, I suspect in part, pain trajectory research.

@nakedphysio @AdamMeakins Tissue with pathology including degen changes can become symptomatic then settle to asymptomatic because of injury, other systemic & disease issues that fluctuate. The body attempts repair. Pain is usually associated with some pathology, but the reverse does not have to be true

@DrSethPT Also I agree in part, but my understanding of the consensus is nociception can occur without tissue damage. It can occur with tissues under load. Isn’t that the “potential” part in the IASP definition of pain?

@DrSethPT Agree. However, how does this coincide with process of healing? should I presume that any healing through scarring is and always will be patho-anatomical?
