I am not an expert on magic's history by any means, but the MH3 cards we have seen so far really feel like a love letter to the game. As a newer player, it is really cool to see the callbacks and revitalizations of cards and archetypes I "missed".

I don't understand how people can say "I want to be a pro player" and "I don't want to play standard/limited" in the same breath.
Have you not seen the formats that are played on the pro tour?
If you want the Pro Tour to stick around. You need to play standard consistantly.
If you want Prize Support to expand. You need to get more people to play standard.
If you want GPs and similar events to exist again. The culture of competition needs to be inviting and inclusive

I am so incredibly frusterated with WOTC right now. I play magic 3-4 days a week, have spent thousands of dollars on this game. And no part of the 30th anniversary was something I could participate in. Either due to insane costs or in this case unreasonably imited supply.

Does anyone have any experience bringing a partially foil deck to an RC? Did you double or single sleeve? I build decks with what I can get my hands on and that tends to result in something that has some stray foils and I really do not want to double sleeve bc tiny hands
