The partial acrylic one won't work. The APIs for that are internal and not documented and UI performance is laughably bad (>1s response time) when you use it. Already tried this when designing a client for a Steam competitor. Maybe windows 11 makes it better but on 10 it's not.

Incorrect. 1 volt/150 amps directly on your tongue won't do anything. It depends on the resistance of the area of the body that is getting hit with the electrons as well as the energy source. AC sources also introduce frequency into the lethality equation.

Also it's not clear from the image (you'd probably have to guess) that 6 shortens 1 from ninkin to ni. That'd be hard to figure out without at least one more example, I'd say. There'd be a lot of guessing.

For 4. I have earbuds that have ambient aware and I crank that setting pretty high so I can hear not only my music but also everything around me, often better than if they were out (because it's sort of amplified). But great advice nonetheless.

There's only 1x80 in 152, leaving 72. You then add 3x20 to get 60, leaving 12. I missed the "ke na" before "shuuni", so I actually wrote 142, not 152. Good catch! Should be "nkuu na beetaanre na ke na shuunni" I think.

And the last one is technically "kampwehii taanre na benjaaga na ke na sicyeere" but I don't think there's enough information from the image for the reader to know that. Only with the "baa-" prefix does the "s" change to an "r".

Genuine question, if your Japanese is not great but you're making an effort is it still seen as a bad thing in Japan? E.g. in France it's a known trope that bad French is worse than no French. Germany (where I live) too in certain parts.

There are, people don't use them though. They personify animals as though they have human thoughts and emotions and usually mistake certain behaviors as "cute". Like for parrots, that's more often the case than not. Exotic pets are super, super hard to take care of properly.

I like the effect, and I think if you're trying to go for a "lo-fi" or forced retro look without losing texture fidelity (which, at least, is how I perceive this) then doing it very subtly with perhaps a quarter of the current snapping power or so would still achieve that effect.

Yep. My grandmother divorced my grandfather a few years back. He was so heartbroken he died about a year later. (They're my biological family, I don't really have contact with them and didn't know about this until years after the fact).
