Just how you are framing this I find problematic. Brittany Griner is no criminal mastermind. I see 2 citizens who made a mistake out of ignorance at best. The differential treatment is my issue. I just expect some baseline level of consistency. These are not wildly different.

I don’t think it’s race personally. It’s an allegiance thing. Politics is very much a team dynamic at this point. If the person is perceived to be on your team you will defend them and if they aren’t they will be hung out to dry. Team over principles. Bad dynamic for a country

I could see this as a positive for the game. People like the idea of playing the same courses as the pros and too often the tour limits that possibility by incorporating too many private clubs or unaffordable clubs. Could lead to some growth within the game which is great.

My guess would be he sees himself as thriving in spite of as many of us do. My entire time in public education, I had 2 good teachers. Neither of which inspired me to do anything. School should help someone maximize their potential, not limit it, as public school does.
