@CiscoKid814 @WhitlockJason That's my thought also - I would be very disappointed if my child stood by without intervening in that type of situation. I'm not big or strong - but you better believe I would be in the middle trying to stop it. Praying for that poor girl.

@EM_RESUS As an RN, I had a young pt. scheduled for non-urgent cardiac cath the next morning. She insisted on getting official advance directives stating she was not going to survive. We helped her with this thinking it was ridiculous. She coded and died during the cath. Lesson learned.

@JaymetheRN RN here/ pain may not overtly murder a pt., but chronic, unrelenting, disabling pain can and will erode all quality of life and rob a person of hope - isolates and distorts life for that person and their family and may, in fact, result in suicide.

@MeetMeAtCalvary I'm a former hospice nurse - I'm praying that precious Riley is being seen and managed by home visits daily or twice daily or as often as needed by nurses who know how to help. It is heartbreaking to read of her pain; pain can be managed.

Breast augmentation (not a great idea for teen bodies) can be reversed and typically does not radically alter one's physical health or future. Gender reassignment surgery is extreme on every level and is absolutely not appropriate for children.

@nowthisnews I have so many concerns with this - a 5-year-old does not need this information. It is fodder for anxiety, trauma, and nightmares. Far better to insure that the school has policies in place to keep the children safe so they can be about the business of being children.

@Prolife_Sam When I lost my baby years ago, a friend gave me a beautiful glass vase with flowers. I've kept the vase as a memorial to my precious son. Flowers fade quickly as he did but bring a moment of beauty and comfort even all these years later.

@KenDBerryMD I think the majority are overweight, have insulin resistance from too much sugar. How many never go a single day without dessert, sugar in coffee, sweet tea, candy bar on the way out of the grocery store etc. I don't see how strict plant based (excluding grains) would cause DM2.
