We pray for Scarlett❤️ who has battled DMG for over a year as we continue to pray to God for His miracle of a cure for all Childhood Cancers. Our hope is in Him!🙏🎗️💛✝️ ”Scarlett has now been living with and fighting dmg for a year and she has now received her tenth Car-T cell infusion. She has been through so much and continues to do well. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you. 1/30/25-2/1/25 Scarlett reached an important milestone - she completed her 10th Car-T cell infusion on 1/30/25! I remember when she started the Car T cell process and infusion #10 seemed so far away. This infusion went very well. This infusion was completely different than the others. She had fever (she normally does) but it only lasted overnight. She stayed awake most of the day and had a really big appetite after which really nice to be able to see her be awake and wanting to play rather than sleeping the day away. She got to see her friend Gavin who also had an infusion the same day. It was nice to see the kids run around together.Scarlett said it made infusion day so much better ! 01/31/25 marks exactly 1 year that we received the worse news of our lives - Scarlett’s official diagnosis with Diffuse Midline Glioma (DMG). Over the past year, Scarlett has undergone: -30 rounds of radiation -2 procedures to her brain -picc line placement -apheresis -chest port placement -10 MRI scans -and now 10 Car-T cell infusions. But this year has also brought us so many great memories. We wouldn’t have made it through this past year without everyone’s support and prayers.
