I’m not Jewish but I have tried to learn and understand about the Holocaust including a visit to Auschwitz Birkenau.

Just been for a coffee with a friend who’s son is in final year at Oxford and in the Union debating society. She says that discussing balancing women’s and trans rights is the dominant issue for students but he refuses to discuss it with her as he can’t tolerate her views.

A lot of it comes down to snobbery from academics who think they somehow own this. Ordinary women just getting on with their lives have no interest in the theories and history of feminism but have woken up to what’s happening and that’s a good thing.
