Today I played against the transphobe hearts pirates tcg, I said nothing to him about my dislike of him out of respect for my wife. After beating him I heard him say that I just got lucky despite him being the worst opponent I played all day, making multiple clear mistakes.

I think that this alt is worth investing in. This Kaido was in 11/32 decks from the OP05 Regionals posted on limitless. A highly playable secret rare alt for >$20 is crazy to me.

I like R/P Law leader, the ability is so expensive that I find it lends itself to more difficult mechanics.
In black decks right now you remove bodies so efficiently that you can missequence multiple turns, but still win because your opponent has no board.

The three brothers decks are a great example of how the yellow mechanic doesn’t have to be random triggers.

In most matchups the goal is to take first, ramp with jack and put a 4c in the trash to then play moria on turn 4. Later game you can use lead effect + kamazo to remove characters

Gecko Moria is the biggest gatekeeper for rogue decks right now. 5 lives, consistency, efficient removal and a ton of value mechanics are really hard to overcome.

Bad Saka matchup.
Coin flip mirror.
Bad against 6k leaders.
Can still lose to yellow if they have the right triggers or you whiff magellan.
Bad R/G Law mu.

OP05 was not a very fun format. OP06 with bans could be one of the best we’ve had. Even numbered sets have consistently been the best so hopefully that trend continues.

I wish that One Piece store Regionals had been more widespread and mandated some level of attendance at the locals (maybe twice in the last month). It would increase incentives to go to locals and allow people to get into their stores events.

Waitlisted in to the online treasure cup yesterday with Ace. I went 3-3 before dropping to go play basketball. The losses were very close despite having 5 5c brothers in hand by turn 3 in all of them.

Smoker was my deck for OP03.5 and my first top 16. Law was my 04 deck, with my first tech being sugar and then red hawk.

I believe that yellow actually adds skill to the game. Card knowledge becomes a much more valuable skill when you have to play around a multitude of triggers while also applying pressure quickly. Yellow is one of the hardest decks to play against correctly.

why did clyde play kuzan over borsa? if yonas has two amaru then clyde could only survive if between the kuzan draw and his two life he gets at least a 2k,2k,1k. because yonas can 2 amaru, 9k, 9k, 10k, 11k. am i missing something?

10 cards in my hand, 4 in his. If I swing into pero with lead and he lets it go, I am in a solid position by not allowing his three characters to restand, but if he counters and plays 10c BM and swings 5 I lose. I decide to go for game, swing 9 his hand is all counters.

I don’t think that Noel should be perma-banned, particularly when compared to the way bandai handles in game cheating, but he definitely knew the consequences. It was not an accident or a one-time occurrence, Justin took credit for the accomplishments in order to cover it up.

I was having so much fun with Law in OP04 that I played all the time and continually worked to improve. Then, Saka was the best deck in 05 and 06. Practice felt like a chore, and I did not do it to the same caliber or with the same passion. I hope to come back stronger now!
Straight facts. I promise 3/4 of yall in any card game, are coping hard on all or even most your losses being due to solely RNG.
If you aren’t playing to the best of your hand, and to the best of your opponents deficits, no point in comparing about RNG 24/7.
