It's really telling how there's genuinely a lot of disabled characters in comics but they never get that side of them explored in depth, or it's ignored entirely by both the fans and the writers.
For example, Cyclops is a disabled character, but you RARELY see it get discussed.

The race swapping isn't the issue; it's changing Magneto in such a way that it erases his Jewishness and its impact on his POV. Black jewish people exist, and a black jewish Magneto isn't an issue.
Race swapping is perfectly OK when the core ideals of the character are the same.
