100%. I've worked in the food industry all of my adult life, and though a lot of places do use bleach, it's very diluted and then rinsed off. Even if there were residue, it's nowhere near a concentration that could cause this.

In many home births, midwives and doulas tend to encourage you to eat for exactly those reasons. So you have strength. The stigma of not eating comes from the possibility of asphyxiating if you have an emergency and need to be put under anesthesia.

When I met B’s family my ‘layup’ was his little brother who’s very shy, helpful, and super into taxidermy. Asked him what he liked to trap most and now I’m pretty sure he’d shoot anything for me without hesitation or question. Gotta play the long game 😉

*visualization sounds tacky but if you’re having chronic or tension related pain around your downstairs try picturing a small balloon inflating in your pelvis and relax the muscles around to ‘give it some room’. Just keep breathing, deep below your ribs, see what that does ♥️
