I think we should all be worried by a plan to silence those who hold public office accountable. As a charity CEO I can feel the pressure to stay quiet too, a potential risk to funds, risk to reputation, risk of making things worse for our beneficiaries, a perfect fear storm!
Yesterday I was asked if it was reasonable to be scared by the Tories' plans. Well, Rishi Sunak has put out a press release, naming me (and no one else) *ten* times. So, yes, they are explicitly targeting their critics. And who knows where this goes?

My mum gave me a gift for my birthday that I still can’t stop looking at and touching. It’s a comfort cushion made from my Dads clothes, my Dad died nearly 9 years ago now and I rarely talk about it because I’m so sad he’s gone and sometimes I pretend it hasn’t happened.
