@jbrendanritchie @VSSMtg @IconLaboratory @DirkBWalther The major fun part of our and the Tang et al. studies (I think) is that you could link some (potentially) interpretable properties of DNNs or neural firings to beauty. This goes beyond the question of for example, whether DNN can predict beauty (which they for sure can). 2/2

Thanks to a friend who's not on this platform, Fig. 4 should be 孔孟好學 (something along the lines of "study like Confucius and Mencius"). A quick search suggests that this one is still a thing in Taiwan. Fascinating.
