It's cute that everybody's leaving (what was once) Twitter *after* the US election. Anyway, better late than never:

I don't think I ever dreamed that my 'Godzilla: Lizard Poet' pieces would be published by a bona fide poetry press... And yet - two of them are in this anthology from the stellar @brokensleep, out this month. All I can say is, grawwrr! Rarrgh! Gr-arrgh!

She was the existing local candidate and she was deselected by the national Labour Party - she was campaigning hard for Labour in the hours before the news of her deselection broke. She didn't 'choose' any such thing.

I know it's hard for polling sites to take account of independent candidates and local issues, but at this stage showing Faiza Shaheen as a no hoper in Chingford is serious misinformation; and since this is not the first time, it begins to look wilful.
