Constant lying Tories in the HoC today - insisting Rwanda was a deterrent and what stopped it working was Labour Government cancelling. They did cancel it and rightly so - since
@LBC @Matthew_Wright 4 volunteers were paid Β£3,000 to go Rwanda with 5 years paid for deal of board and keep. Sunak cancelled Rwanda scheme & let detainees go free with no monitoring then called a snap election. If it was so much of a deterrent-why do that He already knew it wouldn't work β¬οΈ

Good to see we have a PM who stands by his word and provides written answers to the Liaison Committee. What a refreshing change from previous PMs who only ever sought to avoid answering questions.
We asked Prime Minister, @Keir_Starmer, to provide further information following our most recent hearing with him. He has written to us about: - Local Housing Allowance - Childcare - Supporting disabled people into work - International Investment Summit Full details below π

@RupertLowe10 Were you missing from the chamber during the debate on the second reading of immigration bill today Tories are doing another one of their trick amendments which refuses second reading of the bill. Appears Tories don't want to solve this Is this where ReformUK stand as well

@KemiBadenoch @Conservatives This shows just how fickle these Farmers are to allow you to use them to electioneer and fob them off Meanwhile some facts wouldn't go amiss
@GBNEWS OBR assessed GOVs IHT scheme & confirm the costs given in the Budget as the number of farms affected as 530 being the upper estimate. Meanwhile GOV has given largest amount in history to farmers & will negotiate the problems Farmers are having with Brexit.

Not surprising - it's as regular as not running surgeries in his constituency. A total waste of space
Noted that neither Nigel Farage, nor in fact any Reform MP, is currently not in the chamber to debate the Border Security, Asylum and Immigration bill. I understand Clacton's MP is hosting a radio show at 7pm... Which is of course the priority.

@LBC Really!! The Country does not despise the PM - in fact they think he is the best PM of all the leaders - and by a wide amount

@jazzaoxon @beneathbluster @BethRigby @ReformUK @Nigel_Farage Exit poll 13 for ReformUK = 5 MPs Yet every other Party got more than the exit polls predicted and today's poll says it all - and yet seemingly being ignored

@johnredwood That isn't Official Figures. Release of employment data by ONS is 18th February 2025 which will be for Dec to Jan 2024/5 However, Vacancy numbers have been decreasing for two and a half years. In that time Tories Nat Insurance for both employees and employers rose to 15%

@GBNEWS Haven't these farmers got accountants or financial advisors. None of them ever state their situation - since the OBR assessed the GOVs scheme and confirmed the Budget details were correct Meanwhile
@GBNEWS OBR assessed GOVs IHT scheme & confirm the costs given in the Budget as the number of farms affected as 530 being the upper estimate. Meanwhile GOV has given largest amount in history to farmers & will negotiate the problems Farmers are having with Brexit.
