Excited to share a new preprint on our new version of 1P Meso-OPM @JiYiLight @KanoldLab and Jeff. Using an off-the-shelf transmission grating, we achieved 3D isotropic cellular resolution on mesoscopic scales (e.g., entire fish larvae) up to 2-5 VPS. ππ
I'm SO thrilled about winning the NAC Image Technology Best Presentation Award at SPIE #PhotonicsWest. The audience may be interested in the diffractive light sheet in our Mesoscopic OPM and may be surprised by the isotropic cellular resolution in such a large FOV. @JiYiLight

@JiYiLight @RetoPaul Yes. We have exactly the same idea on using mirror to increase the light sheet angle. I still remember that we did the same zemax simulation and expected the same FOV and resolution as our grating method. But this is really impressive and congratulations.

Mesoscopic OPM on display! We achieved 3D near-isotropic cellular resolution over an 3x5 mm2 FOV in uncleared acute brain slice. Thanks to collaborations with @KanoldLab at @JHUBME. Stay tuned for upcoming manuscript.
