@NM_Transit_ @bhaumikgowande We have to push for an agenda which praises anyone who invests in walking infra, buses, dense hoods with mixed class & use hoods and we criticize who prioritizes car-centrism & sprawls.

No building in mumbai needs to be under 20 storeys or 70m. Lets reconfigure the city to make this possible. However none of these buildings should have more than 25% parking spots compared to its flats. This will make cost of construction lower, flats more affordable & in adequate nos. Govts can vastly encourage mixed use & class cluster redevelopments by becoming a stake holder. Mumbai should have a unified transport authority and it should become the biggest developer in Mumbai so that it can earn a profit while running suburban trains, metro, buses, trams, monorails, catamarans, ecycles & escooters. City will then be the biggest income generator in the world.

Why are you just ranting? Why not suggest solutions like 1. destroying brahminism amongst indians which enables us to spread rubbish. 2. Decentralized and autonomous city councils who can invest more freely in waste management 3. More PPP projects for sewage treatment plants. 4. State support for waste disposal, recycling and management. 5. Taxable income and pension for conservancy workers. 6. Global tenders for waste management
