The whole team is deeply saddened to hear this news. Adrian Barnes is one of our most favourite authors here in Sauchiehall st - almost every member of staff counts Nod as a favourite. We will continue to recommend this excellent book, one you may not know but absolutely should.
I have just heard the sad news that one of our authors, Adrian Barnes has died of brain cancer. He was a very gifted writer. We published his debut NOD in 2012, it was shortlisted for the

. He will be missed.
