Five years ago today, just prior to my daughter’s wedding, my leg broke because Lymphoma had damaged it. If not for that event the Cancer may not have been found until it was too late. No matter if my horses win today

Found out this week Trooper’s Hemangiosarcoma not only returned but metastasized in spite of chemo. He just turned 11 & has had a great life. We’re going to provide palliative care as long as we can. Still, it adds to a rough last few months after losing Baxter & Jumper.

for a safe spring meeting. The KHRC stated there were zero fatalities during racing from 1095 starts. There were 23 vet scratches & 43 horses were put on the vets list (not sure if that includes the 23). Inspections are working very well!
