What we did in these situations was hold the check & wait until the club has a big artist on a Friday night and then recash the check on Friday morning. Usually the money to pay the headliner will be in the bank because they don’t want to risk a bigger artist’s check bouncing.
On 9/1 I played a show and the check I got for it bounced. Been playing phone tag all week w/ managers saying they'll tell the owner and the owner will get me paid. Still short my $700. Debating on doing a big call-out post on FB/IG to see if that moves things along any quicker.
