Next week's massive game against Armenia kicks off next Saturday at 2pm our time. I am amazed and saddened to see so many grassroot fixtures in Wales scheduled to KO at the same time. Everyone in Welsh Football should be behind our First Team of national players.

I am one of the 14 & I have my first official game as a referee in 17 years tomorrow afternoon. I will do my best. I will make mistakes. But it will be a proud moment for me as being a referee is a very important contribution to the game. I urge others to do this excellent course

Of course, we love any player that wears our shirt but there are some players that there is something especially endearing about. Ben Cabango is one of those. Every time I listen to him, I find it uplifting. A warrior on the pitch and kind off it. Crying watching him on S4C now.

I accept without reservation that it was a poor performance yesterday but I do think that it has been forgotten that Armenia are a good side. Neither Croatia or Turkey found them easy. I would not want to draw them again. There are no easy games on the international scene.

My father in law would have been 80 today. When I 1st met him in 1997 in London, he told me about a previous visit in the 60s when, hungry, nobody would sell him something to eat. A Welsh taxi driver fetched something for him. That taxi driver did Wales proud that night. 🏴🇯🇲

Taking what I am seeing on the Cymru App at Face Value, there are approximately 300 fixtures that overlap with the Armenia game. That is around 5,000 players, Match Officials, Team Officials and Spectators not supporting our boys at home or in clubs/pubs. So sad 😢
