To add to this the assistant was either Dan Cook or Mark Scholes. Dan is not just a PL assistant referee, he is a FIFA listed AR and Mark has been a PL assistant for 13 seasons. Between them they have officiated in 516 PL games. Maybe it is Wilder who should learn some respect

Because he has never let England down and is still England's best centre back. Less than 12 months ago he was in the team of the tournament
@SkySportsPL
Arteta should be sent off for his actions in this match. Pure disrespect for the officials who've had a good game. No way was that handball

If she has every right to do it then let her continue then if anyone does anything to her it's their fault and they get arrested. When is the right time then?

Now mention that there is an 8million increase in the amount of people who are atheists and don't follow believe in a religion rather than trying to create anger and resentment towards other religions
@SkySportsNews
Right decision. They deserve a tournament just like anyone else does. Well done to them for standing up to the clubs trying to bully them
The amount of fans who don't know the handball law and are talking about the "sleeve line" is staggering but it is proof that they don't know the laws. It was handball

– 90+3’ VAR OVERTURN
Ouattara’s goal is awarded on-field. The VAR overturned the decision as they deemed it to be a factual handball by Ouattara, therefore an on-field review was not required and the goal was disallowed.

@SkyNews
Disgusting decision. Scotland should have the ability to determine their own future not people that they never elected who don't care about them
@GascoyneDr
@BBCSport
Sadly people do still care and they will try to make him suffer for it. I've experienced homophobia on here and on the pitch, it may be less than it once was but it's still there
How can Gary Neville be so confused by 2 yellow cards for dissent. Once you are shown 1 yellow card it doesn't give you a free hit at showing as much dissent as you want

All 3 of them don't have a clue about the laws of the game. Intention means nothing and endangering a players comes into consideration for serious foul play not a reckless challenge which this was. BT Sport really need to send their pundits on a referee course to learn the LOTG
Mixed feelings about my game today, very sad about the incident but also heartwarming how both sides responded. You can't always help having an idiot in your team but the away side showed how to deal with it if you do. He won't be playing for them ever again

Fake, money grabbing tories. Shame on everyone who enabled them. If you want to donate money then do it direct and not to their back pocket. And before anyone asks I donate £5 per month to the Trussell Trust

That's not what he said. He said that Arsenal don't forgive and evidence shows he might be right, look at this situation and how they treated Ozil
@TheAthleticFC
Brilliant to see and very brave of him. Shows the progress that has been made but we still have a long way to go in tackling homophobia in football
@SkyFootball
Sky Sports are really desperate to create controversy. Why can't they just accept the referee had a good game and this was a correct decision?
@BBCNews
No need to cancel anything, the world still goes on and bills still need to be paid. what about people who work at these events who now can't afford buy food for the next week?
Time for change. Time for a referee strike.
Enough is enough. I've been laughed at for saying it is only a matter of time before a referee is killed. Thankfully there will have been stewards who could help Craig but if that is on a park pitch the referee is by themselves

This is only the start, more and more will start to feel confident enough to report this abuse after years of having to keep quiet about it
@RedAlexCrewe
It wasn't a red card as he didn't stop a goal or clear goalscoring opportunity due to the lack of pace on the ball and the covering defender who would get to the ball before the attacker. Correct outcome should've been a yellow card
There are 2 VAR officials at Stockley Park and as it was a yellow card offence thus VAR didn't look at it. Another person moaning about the officials but doesn't understand the basics
Not West Ham related but can anyone tell me how a referee on the pitch and 3 VAR referees at Stockley Park have looked at this multiple times and still concluded that this is a red card offense? In what world is this even a foul against Boly?!?!?
This is a disgraceful tweet from an official club account. Whoever has posted this needs sacking. Nottingham Forest lost today as they were not good enough. It would be great to see the PGMOL stand with their referees and refuse to referee a Nottingham Forest game.
Three extremely poor decisions - three penalties not given - which we simply cannot accept.
We warned the PGMOL that the VAR is a Luton fan before the game but they didn’t change him. Our patience has been tested multiple times.
NFFC will now consider its options.

Nice to see the LGBTQI+ community being supported but football still has a long way to go to eradicate homophobia as shown by 2 ex players thinking it's funny to make a joke about coming out
@BBCNews
Lot's of other things we can and should be doing before that like reducing food waste and not having foods that travel half way around the world.
No idea why there is so much debate about this. It was offside. My only issue with the decision is that it shouldn't have take VAR as long as it did to confirm it
#NEDFRA
The Dutch think they have taken the lead but after a lengthy VAR check from the English officials, the goal is ruled out.❌
What did you make of it?

If you have been in professional football for over 30 years and "never even heard of [IFAB] until about three years ago!" That says more about you than them and shows how clueless these managers who've played the game are about the laws.
Am I shocked by how many people don't know you can't be offside from a goal kick? No I am not. Shows how so many fans (and looks like players) don't know the basics of the offside law

Go educate yourself if you think it's a cold. Start by talking to front line health workers or the millions of families who've lost loved ones due to this virus
And this quote from a Nottingham Forest player after their Play Off final win sums up the issue in football. They only want decisions going their way, no accusations of corruption that day.
Forest go beyond self serving excuse making. They didn’t seem worried when VAR turned down Huddersfield town penalty appeals in the play off final. How about considering the option of accepting the results + trying to improve the playing performances?

Go watch the documentary Alan Shearer did. There are stats that back up that ex footballers are more likely to develop dementia or similar than normal members of the public
The director clearly looking to continue the disgraceful and baseless abuse that Lee Carsley is getting for not singing the national anthem. He has every right not to sing it if he doesn't want to, strange how it's the "free speech" brigade who are at the front of it
#ENGFIN
Anthony Taylor correct not to show a yellow card to Joelinton, it wasn't a reckless challenge and he didn't stop a promising attack as the advantage was player. More proof that fans and players don't know the laws
