@Billingham_TCx @RetroMiniman @RomfordTipster @BBCSport I have linked it to the moment of the incident, you would only need to watch 20 seconds to see it. You are in the very small minority who think the law should go back to the one from 2020/21

@Dodo04Mikey2 For it to be a yellow card offence it has to be deliberate and impactful, it wasn't impactful thus it wasn't a yellow card offence.

Rashford is possibly a little bit lucky not to have been sent off for 2 yellow cards since coming on. The first for the arm in the face just after he came on and a 2nd for that challenge #AVLTOT

@Dodo04Mikey2 It doesn't matter what you think he's trying to do, what matters is if it is impactful and it wasn't.

@Dodo04Mikey2 It's a silly thing to do but he hasn't delayed the restart so it's not a yellow card offence. Kicking the ball away isn't an automatic yellow card

@Dodo04Mikey2 Then by the time he got up a restart hasn't been delayed as his team mate had gone to the side to get another ball so play could restart.

Good great thread by Dale and great teamwork by the officials to get to the correct decision.
Something a little different, a thread to explain why Djeidi Gassama's goal for Sheffield Wednesday at West Brom was disallowed for a subjective offside against Josh Windass. Caused quite the controversy. Incident is clipped out here. #swfc

@Sam94Carefree @BBCSport What about the language you used on your first message? Was there any need for that?
@grassrootsrefJa @BBCSport How many times you seen a goal ruled out due to a handball leading directly to a goal? James Stevens is a bellend

@Sam94Carefree @BBCSport All referees I know played football but to referee and make any progress you have to give up playing and without referees people like you don't have a game. The problem with players like you is you think you know the laws but you don't and don't like being told it

@Sam94Carefree @BBCSport That means you don't know who is on the IFAB panel, if you did you wouldn't be making a very silly comment like that. Also I remember when this goal was disallowed and every ex-player who commented on it said they didn't want it being disallowed

@Billingham_TCx @RetroMiniman @RomfordTipster @BBCSport It's not a stupid law, we saw that law quickly ended after about 2 seasons as almost everyone hated it with this being an incident which I didn't see anyone say that they liked being disallowed

@Sam94Carefree @BBCSport If you want to be literal with words then very few people liked it. That doesn't change that it's not a handball offence and you've shown you don't know the handball law.
