With all due respects the reason why they’ve made a bad job at it is because of the strength, determination and resistance held by the Welsh people. It’s no accident that at least 5 of the signatories of the Declaration of USA Independence were Welsh or of recent Welsh descent. Individuals who had to leave their homeland for all kinds of reasons but mainly (I believe) to establish Welsh settlements and live in a free country. It is our right to be able to live in an independent Welsh nation.

That’s not possible your either one or the other. Unionism has been nothing but a detriment to the Welsh identity and nation. Unionists brought about derogatory poems such as “Taffy was a Welshman” and policies in government to.. Frankly! Wipe us out. It’s time to pick a side, and if history has taught us anything it’s British nationalism that has: ❌ Undermined Welsh identity & language ❌ Exploited Welsh resources, left communities struggling ❌ Centralised power in Westminster, ignoring Welsh needs It’s time for Wales to put itself first. #Gwlad #Gwlad2026 #wakeup #IndyWales #WalesFirst #annibyniaeth

They came to conquer Europe. 150,000 Ottoman soldiers stood at the gates of Vienna, ready to break through... Then, on September 12, 1683, 20,000 horsemen appeared on the horizon—the largest cavalry charge in history. What happened next changed the course of history forever:

Westminster has failed working people for decades. But why keep looking to another UK party in Wales for answers when the system itself is the problem? Reform won’t change the fact that Wales is treated as an afterthought. Real change means Wales standing on its own two feet, making decisions for our economy, our communities, and our future. Britain isn’t “stronger together” when Wales keeps getting the short end of the stick. @Gwlad_Gwlad is the reform Welsh politics need. #gwlad2026 #gwlad #joingwlad #IndyWales #WalesFirst

Reform UK is just another Westminster party that doesn’t care about Wales. They’ll talk about “change,” but their only goal is to keep Wales under London’s control. Real change doesn’t come from swapping one Westminster party for another, it comes from Wales running its own affairs. Labour and the Tories have failed Wales, but the solution isn’t Reform UK. It’s @Gwlad_Gwlad! Join today and let’s put Wales first. #Gwlad2026 #JoinGwlad #Gwlad #WalesFirst #IndyWales

@WalesPolitics Dear Wales, if you ever want to see any positive change, you will need to vote Reform in the next election. Labour and Conservatives have been nothing but failures to the entire UK. Labour has proven itself to be utter shit in Wales for years.

With all due respect, in a normal country, people vote for different parties knowing their government actually has the power to change things. In Wales, we vote but Westminster still pulls the strings. No matter who we elect, we’re stuck with decisions made in London that don’t work for us. That’s why @Gwlad_Gwlad is the alternative to getting Wales back on track. For Wales to flourish and the power to choose its own path a Welsh nationalist centre-right party is needed not another British one. #IndyWales #WalesFirst #Gwlad2026 #JoinGwlad

In my opinion, Plaid Cymru has spent too long trying to be Labour Lite instead of a real alternative. Wales doesn’t need another left-wing party tied to Westminster politics and @Gwlad_Gwlad are the party that puts Wales first, unapologetically. Gwlad stands for: ✅ A strong Welsh economy, not endless dependency. ✅ Pro-business, pro-growth policies to create jobs. ✅ Independence built on prosperity, not just ideology. Plaid can review its policies all it likes, but as long as it clings to Labour, it won’t deliver the real change Wales needs. #Gwlad2026 #Wales #Gwlad #WalesFirst #IndyWales

I get your point, but blaming Welsh voters ignores the bigger picture. People voted Leave out of frustration, decades of neglect from Westminster and mismanagement of EU funds by Labour in Cardiff Bay. The lesson isn’t that Wales shouldn’t make its own choices, but that we need full control over our economy to build a better future. Independence is the way to do that. #IndyWales #WalesFirst #gwlad2026
