The Gulf War had nothing to do with who ran Iraq or Afghanistan. Bush explicitly chose not to pursue the Iraqi Army into Baghdad and was only concerned with removing them from Kuwait.
@RealZach_Taylor
People forget that there were legitimate questions as to wether the US would be successful or be engaged in a protracted war. Especially since Iraq’s AD system was supposed to be extremely difficult.
@AltHistCody
In the documentary they talked about it. He specifically requested his Secret Service detail be removed after he lost cause he said he would feel weird keeping it afterwards. They usually offer it for a little while.
Crazy how in 10 years we went from having the GOP Presidential nominee list Russia as the US’s biggest threat, to the majority of the GOP refusing to send aid to an ally that was invaded by Russia for wanting to join NATO.
We are not being asked to send American troops into war, only to help the Ukrainians defend themselves. If we fail to help Ukraine, Putin will invade a NATO nation. Ukraine is not the end, it is a step—and letting Putin have his way with Europe would jeopardize our security.
An invasion of Israel by an international coalition to end the apartheid regime, remove the (real) weapons of mass destruction, and save Palestinians is the objectively correct thing to do right now. But obviously this won't happen because liberal hawks are racists and campists
I really wish the Lincoln Project was an actual center-right organization that was trying to help moderate Republicans win their primary and not just a resist-lib group.
Rep. Rashida Tlaib on VP Kamala Harris:
“I support a transparent democratic process at an open convention next month, and hope there is a fair vote on the resolution at the DNC that calls for an arms embargo to stop the Israeli government’s war crimes."
I hope this is a wake up call to centrist dems that unions might not be the ally we thought they were. They force us into terrible economic populism and then immediately leave the second they feel someone else has more money. They have no loyalty but themselves.
The president of one of the largest labor unions in the country is speaking at the Republican National Convention about how Amazon and the Chamber of Commerce are ripping off workers while praising J.D. Vance and Josh Hawley

As an alumnus of Harvard, and after this mad season of antisemitism at Columbia, I co-sign.
This former Governor of Massachusetts doesn't need a paycheck, but Harvard and its academic peers needs to recalibrate from far-left orthodoxy.

Not seeing any evidence of how that is a true. And they also would not be more liberal and successful than what South Korea is today. Vietnam is more successful than other Communist countries but not other liberal ones.

Why are you saying it like they need to infiltrate any group to get access to publicly available information? Was this a top secret concert?
We have no idea if he survived after. We still don’t know who he was and it’s highly possible he was arrested and killed later like thousands of others.
I’m fascinated by people in the US that are this divorced from reality. All that effort in dictatorships to blind their people from information and people in the US will just do it to themselves. Incredible!
@worsematt
I think you’ll be shocked to find that most Americans in Pennsylvania support honoring the troops even if they were in Vietnam. This constituency is for voters, not just Twitter.
Hillary Clinton criticizes pro-Palestinian protests and says many young people she’s spoken to “don't know very much at all about the history of the Middle East or, frankly, about history in many areas of the world.”
We can disagree on policy all day long, but thank god there are still progressives in power that actually understand that you might need to make adult decisions and ally with people you disagree to maintain a healthy democracy. Good for her.

"If Democrats do not retake the House in November, I do not have confidence that a Republican majority would certify the results of a presidential election."

"What is America's number one export? Is it George Floyd culture or sodomy?"
What are your thoughts on this?
My favorite picture I have ever taken.
I was driving in Northern Washington State a few years ago and I noticed a Bald Eagle sitting on a US flag pole. So I had to stop and take a picture. As I was taking the picture it started to fly away and made the most American image 🇺🇸
A Democrat voter calls Trump "mentally retarded" while speaking to Democrat presidential candidate Kamala Harris
Harris, a social justice warrior, responds while laughing: "Well said. Well said"
Today I debated a Neo-Nazi. Look at how disgusting and foul these guys are. So low intelligence so all they can resort to is racial slurs and threats of violence. This is why everybody hates them
This is literally a propaganda statement by Hamas who are literally not letting their people leave a war zone because they want to make statements like this.
Leftists: “Israel is conducting an ethnic cleansing by removing Palestinians from Gaza!”
Also leftists: “river to the sea is not calling for an ethnic cleansing”
Damn. Yesterday I had 423 followers. Today I have over 600. Thank you for following me fellow Intelligence Community supporters! Hopefully I can get my 3.5k followers back from my old account.
Happy Birthday to the greatest allied organization in history.
Our collective strength has ensured stability and safety amongst its members, saved families from genocide, and provided solid ground for former authoritarian regimes to be become democracies.
Happy birthday NATO!
I’m a “The world is actually getting better but there is still more we can do to make it even more better” Democrat. Call me a “Matt Darling” Democrat.
The anti-Ukraine right would rather live in a world where unprovoked invasions for territorial gain can be successful for large powers than give 0.000000001% of their yearly salary to people “far away”.
@CosmosEnjoyer25
A democratic government is even more dependent on public perception because they are competing with another political party for control. China doesn’t have any competing political parties.
You can’t simultaneously criticize Biden for sending money to an ally being invaded by one of our main adversaries and also claim he is projecting weakness on the world stage.
For three years, the Biden Administration has projected weakness on the world stage, and it’s emboldened our adversaries.
We must use every tool at our disposal to hold Iran accountable.
385-34-1: House approved $8.1B in foreign aid for Taiwan and the Indo-Pacific Region, the second of four national security bills the House is voting on today to be merged into one package and sent to the Senate. Tlaib (D-MI) voted Present.
For two years, President Biden has said he'll stand with Ukraine for as long as it takes.
For three years, though, he's allowed an invasion of nearly 10 million migrants to occur at our border.
We can’t secure another country’s border before we secure our own.
Even though I think Harris has a much better chance to win than Biden, I do think Biden can still be an asset to the campaign. He seems to be able to connect super well with older voters.
