I want to go back in time to like 1974 and explain to the Joint Chiefs the current state of NATO
"So yeah V Corps HQ is now stationed in Poland"
"POLAND? WHAT?"
"Yeah since the Russians invaded Ukraine the Baltics and Poland want an increased NATO presence"
"THEYRE IN NATO!?"

Americans don't want to fight in more wars
-Just 22% think US troops should defend Ukraine
-30% believe we should fight for Taiwan
-A minority want troops in Israel
US foreign policy should focus on what’s best for all Americans—not just DC elites & their arms industry pals
US Govt. when presented with a once in a 100 year opportunity to destroy our 2nd largest rivals military while simultaneously paying exponential dividens to our national security interests
"More recently, the US used their F-35s to locate and identify surface-to-air missile sites of Russian units in Ukraine, and this information was shared with NATO countries."
Probably from NATO airspace at that. F-35 can't stop catching dubs
The Russian Air Force reportedly used their latest Su-57 fighter jets in recent combat operations, targeting Ukrainian military positions in the East of Ukraine.
On February 18, escorted by two Su-35 jets, the Su-57 launched a missile strike on Ukrainian targets. Sources suggest
"The U.S. Navy also disclosed that the AIM-174 is ‘operationally’ deployed in the U.S. Navy, a significant step from previous sightings of the missile which showed inert, captive carry, and ground training variants only."
IT'S ALREADY IN ACTIVE SERVICE

Got a LOT of new followers.
So
This is your friendly reminder that a USN Carrier Strike Group can travel over 700 nautical miles in a single day, making it the most maneuverable and destructive military unit to ever exist outside of SSBNs.
And they don't operate by themselves
Good morning☕
The weather is lovely in Shenyang.
China as a force for global justice, must reserve the right and build the capabilities to finish Guam, pacify Hawaii and liberate the continental US.
In my opinion, and not minimizing the part played by other branches:
Nasrallah's speech has confirmed beyond a reasonable doubt America's conventional deterrent. Deploying 2 carrier strike groups to an international crisis has historically been our tool for expressing national..
BREAKING: Due to instability in Europe NATO's Allied Air Command has announced that it will be providing armed escort to Santa during his Eastern European transit.
F-15E's of the 48th Fighter Wing will provide escort until Santa enters Polish airspace under "Operation Snowfall"
Raw thought: It's so wild now that the F-35 has proliferated so much in global service that it's no longer uncommon for 35's to just pop up in random press releases for exercises, not only for the US, but with/from our allies. Its just *there* now.
West Side World Wide.
More US Navy aircraft carriers are underway right now than at any point in quite some years - 8 of 11. Four are deployed: GERALD R FORD CVN78 in the Mediterranean Sea; DWIGHT D EISENHOWER CVN69 in the Red Sea; RONALD REAGAN CVN76 and CARL VINSON CVN70 in the western Pacific...
In times of genuine crisis like now with the Middle East, as a Pacific guy, I'm grateful that there's two Carrier Strike Groups tasked for 7th Fleet.
Presence matters now more than ever. We have four CSGs on deployment simultaneously, that is NOT an easy feat. Speaks volumes..
Being an American isnt and never has been predicated upon being born here.
Being an American is a state of mind.
Some of the most American Americans I know weren't born here, or have ever lived here, but they're an American through and through
No one will convince me otherwise
Overall I am quite pessimistic about our chances of avoiding a high intensity conflict with China this century, and to change the trajectory will take a herculean effort, if it could realistically be avoided.
Here's some thoughts.
The United States nominally has 11 aircraft carriers, let's take a closer look at the situation of these 11 carriers, from new to old:
1. Ford (CVN-78): In service in 2017, still issues with the catapults, which prevented Ford from entering combat readiness duty from training.
Feel like people don't appreciate that the USN can sustain two carriers deployed in the Western Pacific for the majority of year, and this is during peace time.
Reminder that while our adversaries are still introducing 5th gens into their fleets, we've already stood up dedicated aggressor squadrons
And ours look cooler
"Russia isn't even trying. They've only committed a quater of their military to Ukraine and barely any of their best equipment. NATO better be careful unless th-"
Never ask a woman about her weight, or a man his height, or the Chinese about munitions inventory relative to probable target sets in a high intensity Pacific conflict
It genuinely terrifies me how easily swayed a large portion of the US public can be.
Your world view's roots are so shallow that a single manifesto has fundamentally changed your world outlook? You despise America that much that you don't notice youre cheering on outright evil?
Over the past 24 hours, thousands of TikToks (at least) have been posted where people share how they just read Bin Laden’s infamous "Letter to America," in which he explained why he attacked the United States.
The TikToks are from people of all ages, races, ethnicities, and
Once these S400 systems are calibrated, Iran’s airspace will be protected from F22 / F35 jets.
When paired with the Su-35, the S400 makes a country’s airspace virtually impenetrable.
Iran knows this very well, hence why they have bought the Su-35 and now the S400 from Russia
This is entirely unacceptable.
The West must close the "obscene but cool" propaganda gap.
Where's my art of B-2s and F-35s prowling interior China for PLARF TELs?
The Navy should not only continue building aircraft carriers, but they should make them bigger.
I want a 6 cat, 140 aircraft CVW, 175k ton Ranger class
I want to reiterate I am not anywhere even peripheral to an authority on CENTCOM or Middle East security dynamics, I am also not an OSINT account, I don't have any real insider knowledge
But I will bet my Ike hat that the Ike CSG is going to be sprinting to the Mediterranean

ATACMS is such a fearsome weapon system that the Ukrainians have to (checks notes) fire so many of them at single targets that they literally overwhelm the simultaneous engagement capability of Russian air defense systems.
Hair-raising but not remotely sustainable.
The fact that aiding Ukraine is an active debate in the US public and govt. actively enrages me whenever I think about it for more than 5 minutes.
Imagine if this occurred during the Reagan era government.
How far we've fallen.
Last time the Mason was attacked by the houthis we TLAM'd the launch sites, and those were from C-801 knock offs, not ballistic missiles.
You don't attack a US warship and get away with it without paying a price.
Two senior U.S. officials tell me that Houthi forces fired two ballistic missiles at the USS Mason this evening in the Gulf of Aden following the Navy’s arrest of 5 gunmen who tried to hijack the MV Central Park. The U.S. Navy successfully rescued the vessel.
Deterrence has evidently failed. The uncomfortable truth is the United States now has to retaliate so thar deterrence can be reestablished.
This involves people dying and military strikes, but I'm past a reasonable doubt that Bidens handling of this crisis has failed.
BREAKING: Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps claims responsibility for the attack on Erbil, Iraq saying it destroyed "spy headquarters and the gathering of anti-Iranian terrorist groups in the region with ballistic missiles"
So many questions!!
How will it be employed? What's the probable target sets? If the range is indeed beyond 150nm (distinct plausibility), how will 5th gen pairing look like at the package level? What's the justification for the programs existence? How will loadouts look going..

The not yet fielded USN Constellation-class FFG is in this lane with the Hunter.
It has too few guns for assault drone swarms & it doesn't rock the radar w/enough long VLS cells to stop ASBM's that China is proliferating to world naval choke points via Iran.
