As a doctor, my concern is that you reduce the risk factors that predispose you to a condition. I didn’t invent the machine. I’m only giving information that those who did, probably didn’t give you. I may not even have the solution-oriented advice you’re looking for. Not my job
being a doctor, it would have been more helpful to eschew condescension and deliver a solution-oriented advice. like, wearing appropriate fingerless gloves for your next gel polish appointment.

Paediatrics was my last HJ posting. I was the only HO in the NNU at the time. Got word that we had a set of quadruplets about to be delivered at our facility. Parents had about 15+ years history of infertility and got a surrogate to carry the babies.
To Doctors on the TL, I want to ask a question. We really see you guys as hard guy, hard guy🤗

This 40hrs during HJ ehn. Doctors give IV meds & I was the only HO on call covering children emergency, NNU & pediatric ward. Was after a long work day & still resumed to work the next day. Missed a baby’s med and got punished. Conso said I had no excuse cos during their time…

First day in HJ, this reg took me round the wards to see the 30+ patients in our unit (BPSU). He said 11 were star patients i.e I had to give them IV Meds. I had never even set a line before. At the last one he said “work starts now, I’m going to the ARD party”. Just like that 😂
