I became a Medical Doctor today.
While in Medical School:
President of my Medical Student Association ✅
Remote roles with foreign blockchain companies✅
Opportunity to have been a classmate with the best group ever ✅
What a run it’s been; thank you ILORIN!
Glory to God🙏

@Mochievous
The focus should be on having honest people in power. Her agenda can never fly.
Even as a student leader, I have seen both male and female abuse power. Being a responsible leader is not a function of your gender!
Pay doctors competitively or we will leave.
It's as simple as that.
We are not your slaves.
We are not your property
We do however save your lives and those of your loved ones and prevent and treat your illnesses.
Pay us competitively.
20 medics are still out there struggling for survival.
It’s deeply heartbreaking.
These are someone’s children, siblings, spouses/lovers; hope for the next generation.
Nigeria traumatizes one so much that if not careful, you become numb to the most devastating events.
I have never regretted choosing to study Medicine. I really wanted it and I got it.
This year has been quite rough, but I have not forgotten why I filled that form in the first place.
One thing is certain, this phase will pass away and like always, I will win.
Amen.
Birthday yesterday.
Completed Housejob today.
Portfolio all green.
Good vibes all around me.
I’ve never been happier.
I'm going to savour every moment and pray that what's coming will always remain better than what's been.
As always, God remains the best of planners!
Doctors are having to defend that they don't have anything outside of Medicine😂.
In my opinion, that's hogwash.
Medicine can be all there is about your life, and that's perfectly fine.
Some of the figures we extol today in history, were deeply obsessed with their fields.
In Medical School, It’s easy to forget how incredibly smart the folks you interact with daily are.
I think we often take ourselves for granted.
Could it be the usual “familiarity breeding contempt”? Or because we are collectively seeing shege at various levels.
I was speaking to a close friend yesterday and I highlighted the need for a quality mental health provision for medical students.
I said contrary to what people say that medical school toughens you, I believe instead that only the tough students survive medical school.
The University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital Burns Intensive Care Unit Building is nothing short of amazing.
The story behind it is even more amazing.
Kudos to the Shagaya family and my alma mater on this remarkable feat.
Once again, our boys have won the University of Ilorin Interfaculty quiz competition.
University quiz champions: 2015, 2016, 2017,2018, 2021, 2022👑
Undisputed Champions🙏🏿
Kudos to the Febrile Academia✅
The book is ready!😄
I've always wanted to do this for a while now, I am glad the mission has been accomplished.
There are many books written on academics but only very few were written by Students.
I have had the opportunity to interact with thousands of students in the last
No fit Vex by Burna boy is a song I really love.
At this age, we are all trying to figure out so many things. I don't feel entitled to the time of anybody and I also never appreciate it when some persons in my social circle feel entitled to my time for whatever reason.
Today was a historic day for us as an Association.
The ILUMSA Class of 1995 handed over Audiovisual aids which were installed in the Clinical Skills and Simulation Laboratory to the College of Health Sciences, University of Ilorin.
These equipments worth about Six Million Naira
Anybody saying Houseofficers are overpaid is a big clown.
If not for the prospect of permanent license post Hj/ a tiny bit of altruism, I can’t do this job for a million Naira per month; I’d rather choose to live on Dexscreener all day.
Most folks can’t fathom how insane this
I think what makes Abdullahi
@InvisibleOpey
wins even crazier is the fact that he was Senator of ILUMSA for two tenures, Captain of the class football team, member of the basketball team, web dev and so much more.
You deserve this brother❤️🥂
4 Distinctions and 19 College Prizes later, including:

I address you all with unfeigned respect and dignity as I sincerely request that you give me the Opportunity to serve in the Capacity of President.
If given this Great Responsibility, I promise that I will not renege on the promise of Consolidation.
Congratulations to the 38th Senate President
@theilumsasenate
and the 39th Executive President of our dear association

.
Thank you for your invaluable service and various sacrifices over the last eight years.
Here's to greater heights and accomplishments❤️
This is magic.
My head is thinking of one thousand ways she can market this.
It's a game-changer for students all over the world.
This app can generate so much for the builder in such a short time.
Damn, kudos🧠

During her Path & Pharm MBBS exam, she needed a question bank generator that is adapted from the slides she was currently studying.
Since she could not find one, she built one.

Now,
To commemorate National Doctors' Day,

sent me N100,000.
I am to give N10,000 to 10 House Officers.

In this age, if someone asks me what they think is the best way to attain financial independence, I won't recommend going to study Medicine.
Medicine is a beautiful course and I believe saving lives is a sacred duty.
Nonetheless we must tell ourselves the truth, there is no
World Doctor's Day!
Another day to celebrate the most impactful profession in the World.
Often misrepresented, and disrespected but can never be ignored.
Shoutout to the amazing heroes doing all they can to save lives every single day!
God’s blessings🙏
While in School I did it all to be honest.
When I started my private tutorial agency in 300l, I was going to every lecture theatre in PS, speaking in front of thousands of students.
I was on every 100l science departmental page then too. Someone once commented that I can't
This is why Doctors shouldn’t be in the Crypto space.
Imagine you just lost $20k, you are on call and one patient presents with cough and catarrh at 1:00am 😂
How you go react?
I took a flight to Abuja on Friday for my Sister's wedding the weekend to my 400l MB Exam, my return flight was scheduled for 6pm on Sunday.
Rain fell on Sunday, I eventually got to my hostel in Ilorin by 9pm.
I wrote Morbid and Chempath Exam on Monday.
I am a very grateful person. Grateful to God most especially.
This pandemic came at the worst time ever, halted my Academics and to a reasonable degree halted my Administrative responsibilities.
Ever since I read think and grow rich by Napoleon Hill at the age of 14,
A country that does not consider education a priority is headed for destruction.
Students have been home for over 268 days with no end in sight to this industrial action.
It's been a really rough year for us!
Let's all unite to

Our association ILUMSA
@IlumsaIlorin
has won the University inter faculty quiz competition 4times in the last 5years.
Kudos to the ILUMSA Febrile Academia!
This competition is for us. Every other faculty simply comes to mark the register.
Congratulations guys!
We always win!
One of the ways I effectively manage my time in school is with the use of the POMODORO TECHNIQUE.
The Technique is a time management method developed by Francesco Cirillo in the late 1980s.
When I was in final year, there were so many things I wished I could tell my 100l self: I assumed I was more enlightened and if only he knew what I knew, he’d have achieved more.
Fast forward to one year later, I have similar thoughts and I have reached a conclusion that,
Success is in stages.
At this point in my life, I consider myself successful.
I like how Glenn bland defines Success as the progressive realization of a worthwhile goal, one is that sanctified by purpose and purified by belief.
The 39th Executive President

receiving Dr. Michael Olugbile's
@DrOlugbile
Presidential Leadership Award.
The first of its kind.
Thank you
@DrOlugbile
Thank you

I have received over 1000 visitors to my book website in the last 8 hours.
This is unreal!
I am grateful to everyone for the immense support.
If you haven't gotten a copy of the book, kindly check it out:
Note: if you have reservations about my book,
This is really wonderful.
I discovered early on in med school that there is a tendency to have your self worth defined by that Scoreboard.
I decided to fight it, and I am still fighting it.
If all your self worth is tied 2 your results, then what happens when you get a bad score?
Dr Olarinoye has expressed his commitment to developing sports medicine among ilumsites by supporting the association with the sum of
#100
,000 yearly for an ILUMSA sports medicine competition.
I'm elated😇💪
We will do more!
Dearest Ilumsites,
Today, the Central Executive Council coupled with the leadership of the Senate council met with the college leadership on matters bordering on the regular delay in the release of Professional results of our members in the College of Health Sciences.
Before I became very active in
@IlumsaIlorin
, I was not a particularly good speaker or prog coordinator, I understood little to nothing about how to sell yourself and your ideas.
Now I do some of these things effortlessly, I know I owe it to
@IlumsaIlorin
.
Are you passionate about cryptocurrencies and Blockchain technology?
Then you should meet Michael Bolade Abiodun: The 39th President of ILUMSA who led the association through COVID-19 and ASUU strikes, honored by NIMSA for his notable contributions.
Whenever I have the opportunity to talk to fresh entrants in the University, I always find it imperative to advise them on the need to participate in other activities outside Academics.
Academics is extremely important, I know this.
Happy Birthday Sis
@omobukola_
You are excellence personified and you keep proving that to us all.
Your amazing work ethic and commitment to goals is unbelievable.
U are the best sister a brother could have ever asked for! Thank you for all the beautiful memories.
Love you 4L
Negative marking is the most pointless exam rule ever. Thank God it's been phased out from most schools, I wonder why my alma mater preserved it for so long.
Good riddance!
What's this obsession with followers on Twitter?
I see a tweet meant to provoke intellectual discourse, and all I see under the tweet is "ifb, kfb".
What's wrong with us?
Got Blockchain writing roles with top foreign companies
Smashed my financial goals
Bought my first car
My baby killing it as my Association President
My family doing great
Messi winning the Worldcup
Glory to God; what a year!
I was at the service of songs of our father, teacher and Mentor: Late Prof E O Sanya.
A short tribute was given on behalf of the Ilorin University Medical Students Association- an association Prof. Sanya greatly influenced in all areas.
We will miss you Greatly Sir!
I beg to differ. One of the tickets maybe, I don’t think it’s the best.
The pathway to that supposed exit from poverty is so rigorous and draining.
As it stands, I think the internet has provided leverage and we are in the age of skills. One can be ok through less arduous paths
If there's anything I know by virtue of experience in med school is that you must never doubt yourself.
I have had great grades and have had some tough times, but I have never doubted myself.
I am still the same Michael, I am intelligent and I will always win.
