This is now a crisis situation. Any incoming government needs to tread warily with the primary sector. Time for a rethink and a reset about the regulatory tidal wave drowning farmers. As if the weather wasn’t bad enough!
Today we reduced our 2023/24 season forecast Farmgate Milk Price range from $6.25-$7.75 per kgMS to $6.00-$7.50 per kgMS. Global Dairy Trade prices have continued to fall since we revised our Farmgate Milk Price earlier this month.
