Personally I don't want my kid to ever feel the need to come out, if you get what I mean. If he's gay, I want my son to come home one day and tell me he has a boyfriend in the same way a straight boy does with a girlfriend, or ditto if I have a daughter.

People naturally vote in their own interest. To many, Trump represented change, an increase in jobs & security, someone who could help them if they are struggling to find work. Agree or disagree, that's what some voted - or thought they were voting - for. They aren't bad people.
