Just got back from Great Wolf in Atlanta.
When are we going to call obesity an epidemic?
My thought is it never will because it’s a cycle; buy packaged food & spend on ozempic and diabetics treatments.
It’s really depressing looking around I feel for this country.

I think about this often! Go to Atlanta suburbs and see the 3500sqf+ homes going for 500k!
No builder wants to build for <1500sqf and even 1500 sqf is rare in some lower tiered cities.
Imagine a product of a 3/1 with 1200 sqf

Was life better or worse in 1950s? Average family home & car in the 50s.
Home is probably 1200sqf. Car probably lasts 5-7 years. 1 TV?
Today the home is 2500sqf, 2 cars out front, 5 TVs.
Better or worse? Did our expectations go up to far to high?

When I lived in El Paso we had nothing but flat roofs. Neighbor had a leak about the same time as I did and I bought a can of some Henry product and fixed it for $50 he paid $1800!!
I do love flat roofs though. Maintenance is soo much easier
