That'll never happen. The case is going nowhere. When it gets dismissed, FFP will be gone forever. It was created by the Old Money Clubs the year after City was bought and then implemented the year after City won the FA Cup. The PL knows demoting City kickstarts the Super League.

I think a decision on Stones would first hinge on getting BrunoG or a suitable double pivot partner/backup for Rodri, since Stones has played that hybrid role well in the 3-2-4-1 formation. Akanji isn't a long-term solution there and is needed at CB, especially if Stones leaves.
