All that matters is perception. And perception is created with top end v top end wins. Just look at college football. The SEC gets to call itself the best because they have won the most National Titles the past 20 years. Whether or not the middle is better than other middles is irrelevant to the general public opinion. It’s all perception. If MLS wants to be considered the best, it needs to prove it, home AND away.

I’m pretty sure the standard rule for minors is you can only join at 16 with a passport besides specific exceptions like these.
