my dream memory would also slowly improve, more details, a little weirder

i just finished season two of Sense8 and i have never been more captivated and enthralled by a tv show ever before. Sense8 is phenomenal and i cant wait for the finale next year.

why is so much new construction so bad? i know of a family who is having a small house built and the amount of nails in nothing, wood cut in odd angles, and just concerning workmanship is all throughout.
what gives? who do people have to pay to have a well-built house?

the only street-level ameneties are garages. the road itself is purely to maximize car speed. there is nothing for a pedestrian to look at, go to, rest under, or travel by. the street is designed for car safety and comfort, not people. There ought to be shops, wider sidewalks,etc
