I came really close to losing someone in Allen. We couldn't locate her for almost 24 hours after the shooting. I was convinced for most of the day that she was among the dead.
She's alive. She's traumatized, but she's alive.

She didn't die immediately. She slipped away over the course of a week. It was awful.
