Catch is a drill, not a "warm up." The teams that play better catch are often the teams that play cleaner baseball. Stop rushing through it. Have a purpose. Those that get "bored" during catch are those that don't understand the importance of it and aren't mentally engaged during it. Play catch with a purpose!

Travel Coaches: High School baseball during HS season ALWAYS comes first. For those travel organizations telling their families & players, you don't need to play high school ball because there aren't any scouts there or the HS coaches are bad. Get over yourself! C'mon people! Immediate red flag! High school baseball will provide some of the best memories for these players. There's nothing like competing with the guys you go to school with every day. The best programs (travel & HS) work together to take care of their players. Because that's what it's all about..THE PLAYERS! What will a college coach say when you tell them you chose not to play HS? 🤦🏼‍♂️

Hello ! I’ve never used X before but it came to my attention that @Teacherman1986 called me out and challenged me to a hitting competition live streamed which of course I have accepted . Here’s my video alongside a video with the best hitter on the planet and a couple of hall of famers . I’m shocked I have to explain this , but if I’m told I’m ruining hitters I’m going to at least reply . Here the thing @Teacherman1986 , we aren’t as simple minded as you may think , we all have eyes , we all see what happens in a swing . Working your hands down to the ball is just a small fraction of the swing . Instead of the negativity , how about ask some questions , be open minded to learn . If @RealCJ10 interacts with you about hitting , instead of challenging him , maybe sit down, get a notepad and take in what this incredible hitter has to say , that’s what I would do . None of us know it all , as coaches there is always room for growth . #shegone

Most athletes don’t need to get in the lab. Most athletes don’t need an entire mechanical overall. Most athletes just need a few tweaks. Most need to try bending their knees a little more, closing their shoulders a little at set position, kick a little higher, move a little faster to home plate and keep their front side a little more stiff. Tweaks > Overhauls
