This is by far the saddest part of recovery meetings for me. If anyone wants to see how terrible our public education system truly is, drop into a 12 step meeting in a normal community. Those groups often literally teach adults to read at a 6th grade level.

Correct….it was (unsuccessfully) litigated by WTC7 insurers but not by victims’ families. I don’t think anyone disputes those towers were coming down eventually but a lot of lives could’ve been saved by another hour. No idea if anyone’s gamed how many though.

If you know where to look you can find a livable 2000 sq Ft home in STL for ca $150K but you’re gonna have a lot of hidden problems because of how unscrupulous/incompetent flippers are. Still it’s a fine city for young professionals. There are options if you’re creative.
