@Jordan_Schiefer All these cars were drowned out by the Ford Explorer and similar SUV due to archaic fuel economy loop holes that meant OEMs pushed truck based platforms that were way less efficient. I welcome the EV era where slightly less efficient all-surface vehicles can flourish once again.

@itskyleconner The rideshare or taxi experience (they ALL suck at the moment) is my least favorite thing about flying and is one of the bricks that add up for my love of road tripping.

@brandenflasch @IAmSuburban My 2018 M3 LR RWD is the second hardest riding 4 wheeler I’ve driven. The worst riding was a metal frame, no suspension go cart I had as a kid. I’m old AF and have owned 40 cars and motorcycles and driven probably a 100 others for my frame of reference.

@PlatniumEden Still haven’t needed to service the brakes on our 2018 Model 3s. One has 95k miles and the other 131k miles. A Tesla service tech rotated the tires at 125k mi on our one car and he said he didn’t even recommend doing brake fluid since they don’t heat up and are less hydrophilic🤷🏼‍♂️

@wowwhatacarryon @itskyleconner I spent about a year of my life asking this question. Not to say I’m terribly smart or well educated but we focused on this topic starting 2 years ago. Within the available offering and considering the other goals (really high power and 1000 V) I am comfortable defending it.

@wowwhatacarryon @itskyleconner ..you can’t easily unholster or restore the handle, etc. V4 is an obvious ergonomic step back from V3 and the design was phoned in. The cable and handle are way heavier than V3. This is the North American versions I’m specifically referring to.

@brandenflasch @gregm12 I’m right there with you. This is a VERY important topic for various reasons. But also no one is allowed to know anything about anyone (and by extension their car) in certain states. Look up California privacy laws for instance. Beyond insane.

@brandenflasch @gregm12 Depending on the ULA they may or may not have the ability to do that. Data privacy leaks have been in the news and thus have had some huge negative PR impact on companies.

@itskyleconner I mean….yes….but I’m probably the most biased person to comment on this question. I will say from concept to reality, the biggest gap so far was a strong desire to be emphasizing pull through spots to charge.

@gregm12 @brandenflasch If you look at enough the videos and website it’s all folks just hitting up the website and running a API call to their car at a snapshot in time. Based on VIN they know some factors but maybe not that one key nugget of information? 🤷🏼‍♂️
