It's the nearly constant grey skies, too. I don't even mind the cold so much, it's when the sun barely seems to appear for months. When the sun comes out, I've noticed a huge improvement in people's mood in the UK.
@PublicPriestley
This is such a powerful way to put the situation in context! A lot of Brits don't consider or believe how deeply corrupt and unequal the UK really, but are so quick to judge other countries because of their implicit biases.
@davenewworld_2
It seems the only power we have left is mass boycotts of all large corporations, and a General Strike. The oligarchs only care about money and power.

America was built on greed, violence, oppression, murder and theft, and unfortunately all of this continues to today. The people of America aren't evil, except those that run corporations, the government and mainstream media.
@mattlieb
American TV shows used to trick people into believing the US would be a great place to live, today social media reveals the dystopian reality. The sad thing is so many Americans still believe it's the greatest country on Earth.
@kamanthony_
Fantastic! They can keep denying it all they want, but they know that every word you said was true. Personally I hope the Tories never get anywhere near power again.
@cleanupbritain
@NationalHways
It's interesting that a lot of British people would still consider the UK a 'developed' country. Judging from the state of the environment, economy, health service, transport network, and rampant government corruption, I'm not sure if it really is all that 'developed' anymore.
@viquirepublica
This disgraceful violence is a terrible shame on Europe! These police are nothing more than aggressive thugs using their position of power to beat up civilians. The world needs to see this and there should be a boycott of Spain and Spanish products until this ends.

Absolutely fantastic! My grandparents (on my Dad's side of the family) were migrants to the UK from Italy and Ukraine. They worked hard, paid taxes, and did jobs that a lot of Brits wouldn't want to do.
It's so appalling how migrants and refugees are being demonised and

No matter how shit things get in the UK, there will be Brits saying things aren't that bad. This is probably why there are still millions that will vote Tory in the next election.
@Kahlissee
The world would be so much better without all these shitty fast "food" restaurants selling trash to people around the world. Hope they all close!
Social media has many positives such as job opportunities, amazing connections and the ability to learn new skills.
One of the downsides is an unfortunate rise in the obsession with perfection. Try to use it productively and positively instead!

Surround yourself with people that celebrate your wins and are happy to see you succeed in life.
Create distance between yourself and those that are envious and seem excited if you suffer a setback.
The people you associate with have a large effect on your long term success.

I do a 4 day work week with 3 day weekends and wish everyone could experience this way of living! I feel so much more rejuvenated and refreshed after 3 days off. 2 days off per week definitely aren't enough.

Capitalism promotes those who are selfish and egotistical to the top in a never-ending competition, that will ultimately lead to the destruction of humanity and most life on earth.

So true! I don't see them banning Fox News or trashy tabloid newspapers like the Daily Mail that are filled with lies. These have done way more harm than TikTok or any social media apps.
@iamharaldur
For some reason, people seem to think they need to have an opinion on everything these days, even when they have no experience or expertise on the issue. Their overconfidence/arrogance seems to know no bounds.

People with their whole identity centred around work, with no hobbies or outside interests. The thought of too much free time terrifies them.

I definitely want you to win Andrew, but it would also be great to see you cutting out the plastic bottles! They are one of the biggest causes of plastic pollution in our oceans.
