Palat is trouble. He drags down everyone he plays with. Any talk about problematic forwards need to start with him. His $6M contact makes this even worse.
In fact, and this is somehow true, every single player on the Devils has better underlying statistics without Palat on the ice vs. with him, except two players: Timo Meier and Kurtis MacDermid. He’s played less than 11 minutes combined this season with those two.

@maurojorgfan1 @BertMorrison4 There’s more buyers than usual this year. The market price is based on supply and demand. Both favor the sellers this season. Evans also plays a sought after position. NJ is a better team with Evans than a 3rd 2025 2nd round pick.
